I was very fortunate to work with Sascha Harmuth at several companies (8MAN, Solarwinds, PasswordSafe by Mateso (now part of Netwrix), and Netfox)—sometimes under him as CSO, sometimes as Head of Sales. And regardless of the role he held, one thing always remained constant: Sascha was the reliable backbone of our entire team.

He creates an environment where you feel safe because he cushions risks, removes operational obstacles, and gives his team the freedom to really perform. Sascha quickly recognizes what a good salesperson needs in a given situation and acts immediately—pragmatically, solution-oriented, and without unnecessary bureaucracy. This allowed us to focus on what matters: customers, deals, and a clean pipeline.

What I particularly appreciate about him is his leadership style. He motivates through trust, not pressure. He provides clear direction, takes responsibility—even when the going gets tough—and stands uncompromisingly behind his team. This not only creates stability, but also loyalty. You automatically want to perform at your best with him.

As a Dutchman, I have a reputation for being direct – and Sascha is one of the few managers who not only handles this excellently, but even appreciates it; he doesn’t like beating around the bush. Maybe it’s because he communicates as openly, clearly, and honestly as we Dutch do… only he cycles a little less than we Dutch do.

I was part of his sales team in several companies and can wholeheartedly recommend Sascha as a responsible, strong, and at the same time humane supervisor. He is not just a manager who leads—he is someone who really helps his team move forward and noticeably advances the company.
